Christian work is not easy work. It's hard because you know that people close to you may end up in hell and the sad thing is there's only so much we as humans can do to help people to the right road. Some believe the road to righteousness is an easy path. I'll tell you this Yeshua said this in Matthew 7:14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
He also made it clear that our worst enemies would be our friends and family. Here in Matthew 10- 21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death. 22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. 23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man become.
So the way is far from easy. It can be depressing at times even burden us down to a point where we believe we can't take anymore. But Yahuah comes and helps us carry the burden and strengthens us so that we might make it to the end of this road. But at the same time, He expects us to do our part too. He's not going to carry you all the way. Just through the rough times when you think you can no longer go on.
Many will give up and wither when in reality all they had to do was call on Him to deliver them from the evils of this world. We have free will to do as we wish even if you saved it's by your choice. Even the Angels have free will if they didn't there would have never been demons or the devil.
So when you make the choice to follow Yeshua. Then you must know also what comes with this undertaking. Don't let others tell you that now your saved your life will be on an easy street cause that's a straight-up lie and Yeshua never said any such thing. Don't be deceived by what you believe to be the truth or even believe that the Holy Spirit is talking to you or in you till you (TEST IT.) Scripture tells us to. Don't believe what men tell you either. Remember Yeshua spoke of wolves in sheep's clothing and He also said The Devil can even appear as an Angel Of Light.
Satan is not as stupid as many believe. I tell you this that the devil was here before man and once Yahuah's beloved Angels so don't believe he doesn't know how to deceive even the best of us. If he could he would even deceive the elect.
